Central, Ardkeen and Browns Road Libraries all have a selection of newspapers and magazines on offer to readers.

Daily national newspapers and weekly local newspapers are available in all three branches.
Central Library also stocks a Sunday papers and a selection of local papers from adjoining counties.

A large and varied selection of magazines is available across all three library branches. All magazines are available for loan on a 1 week basis to library members.

Back issues of all of the Irish Times, Irish Independent and Irish Examiner are held for 3 months in Central Library.
