Central, Ardkeen and Browns Road Libraries all have a selection of newspapers and magazines on offer to readers.
Daily national newspapers and weekly local newspapers are available in all three branches. Central Library also stocks a selection of Sunday papers and a selection of local papers from adjoining counties.
Back issues of all of the Irish Times, Irish Independent and Irish Examiner are held for 3 months in Central Library.

| The Irish Times Digital Archive is available online for internet users at all Library Branches. The digital archive contains the entire The Irish Times from the first edition in 1859 to the present. It is fully indexed and searchable – simply enter any search term you choose and view the results, or browse the paper by edition.
