Local History Group at Central Library
The Local History Group was set up at Central Library in 2008. The group meet at Central Library.
Members of the group are encouraged to share their expertise with the others in the group – many have delivered lectures or training sessions.
Last year the Local History Group organised training sessions on using the resources in the Local Studies Department, a talk on tracing your family history as well as a six week training course on Researching and Writing Local History.
