The Local Studies Department is based at Central Library, Lady Lane and is open during normal hours. Our Local Studies collection is made up of books, databases, newspapers, maps and ephemera on the history, geography, archaeology, genealogy and architecture of Waterford City and surrounding areas. If you wish to view maps, microfilm or rare books, or if you require assistance with your research, call the main desk at Central Library 051-849975 to make a booking.
