    Health & Safety
Waterford City Council promotes the Safety, Health and Welfare of all employees and actively seeks to ensure that it complies with all safety legislation and other statutory requirements.

To achieve this a 'Safety Management Programme' has been put in place to implement training, ensure employee co-operation and provide resources, revision and monitoring.

This programme is structured through a Safety Management Committee, Safety Officer and a Safety Representative Committee.
