Affordable Housing
The Affordable Housing Scheme provides for sale newly constructed houses and apartments, in areas where prices have created an affordability issue for lower income, prospective house purchasers.
Pproperties will be sold to eligible first time buyers at prices significantly less that their actual market value. Certain terms and conditions apply to the purchase of affordable housing.
The City Council aims to ensure that every household has access to affordable housing of good quality, suited to its needs, in a good environment and as far as possible in a tenure of its choice.
We currently have one affordable house available in Tycor Mews, Waterford.
