Recycling
You are required to separate your household waste into the different bins. This means convenient recycling at your doorstep.
Each bin is collected on a 3-week rotation.
Look out for the symbols below on your packaging and waste. These items can be placed in the green bin.
| This symbol means that the item is made from PET plastic - polyethylene terephthalate. It is found on packaging such as plastic bottles, etc. Uses: PET plastic can be recycled for use in new containers for both food and non-food products, fabric for clothing, shoes, luggage, upholstery, furniture, carpet, fiberfill etc. |

| This symbol means that the packaging is made from HDPE - high density polyethylene. It is found on packaging such as milk containers, juice bottles, water bottles, bleach, detergent, and shampoo bottles, butter tubs, household cleaner bottles etc. Uses: HDPE can be made into pipes, detergent bottles, oil bottles, pens, benches, containers, floor tile, picnic tables, fencing etc. |
