Information on the GREY wheelie bin

The GREY BIN is for any waste that is left after recycling (Green bin) and composting (Brown bin) i.e. non-recyclables.

The contents of the grey bin are brought to landfill. Each bin is collected on a three week rotation. Please see your Wheelie Bin calendar for details of which bin to leave out and when.

What can I do if I miss my bin collection ?
If your bin is full, you can take the bags to Kilbarry Recycling Centre, whose opening hours are : Monday to Friday 11am – 4pm and Saturday 10am – 2pm.

It costs €4 per bag of waste and this is only payable in bin tags. You must have a bin tag(s) before going to landfill as none are available there.
