    The Architects Department has responsibility for the following:

     

  • Advising the City Council, as required, in order to promote high standards of design.

  • Design, supervision & management of 'Social and Affordable Housing' projects.

  • Design, supervision & management of 'Urban Renewal and Amenity' projects.

  • Design, supervision & management of 'Remedial Works Schemes'.

  • Advice and design input, as required, into 'Forward Planning' and 'Planning Applications'.

  • Co-ordinate and supervise maintenance of the City Council housing stock.
