Archival Research

Access to our Reading and Research Room is by appointment only. Please contact the City Archives on the number opposite to arrange a suitable time to visit.

Some researchers, both local and national who can undertake detailed genealogical and historical searches are listed opposite.

Please contact these researchers directly. Waterford City Archives does not accept any responsibility for either the work done or the fees charged by any of the researchers listed.

In general Waterford City Archives cannot undertake detailed genealogical and historical searches, although it does contain material of genealogical interest. However, each query will be dealt with on an individual basis and where the City Archivist can help, he will do so.
